h3. {{request-policy}} {anchor:r1}

The {{request-policy}} element configures the authentication policy requirements for web services requests. This element may appear zero or one time within the {{soap-auth-provider}} element. For more information, see [{{soap-auth-provider}}|S#s8].

The {{request-policy}} element can contain the following subelements:
