h3.Definition: Attribute

An attribute is a named set of values. An attribute has an [attribute description|Definition -- Attribute Description], which contains the name of that attribute (which links it to an [attribute type|Definition -- Attribute Type]) and an optional set of [attribute options|Definition -- Attribute Option], and a collection of one or more values.

An [entry|Definition -- Entry] contains a collection of attributes. It is possible for an entry to have multiple attributes with the same attribute type but different sets of options.
