h3. PCIe, PCI-X Card Support With Sun Blade Modular Systems
[Magma|http://www.magma.com] has developed a 3rd party ExpressModule for the Sun Blade Modular Systems. This ExpressModule passes PCIe signals from the blade, through the midplane and out of the chassis. This signal is routed to external expansion boxes (also developed by Magma). In the expansion box, any PCIe or PCI-X card can be placed. The cards can range from X4 through X16, in both Full Height and Half Height form factors.

Requires any Sun Blade chassis. At least 1 blade inside the chassis should have a PCIe Expander ExpressModule. Customers will then connect \["daisy-chain"\] multiple chassis & rackmounts using PCIe cables.
