h1. Steps to install opensso web agent 3.0 for sjs web server 7
Assume FAM 8 server has been deployed using the b4 build [OpenSSO b4 download | https://opensso.dev.java.net/public/use/index.html]
The opensso server url is http://fam-host.example.com:8080/opensso.
The sjs web server 7 server instance is at http://agent-host.example.com:8090.
Web agents are platform specific. These intructions are for Solaris sparc platform.
The instructions are similar on other platforms also except the agent binary name.
h2. How to install opensso web agent 3.0 for sjs web server 7

1. Download sjsws_v70_SunOS_sparc_agent_3.zip from the same b4 build mentioned above.
2. Unzip it to an install directory say /myagent.
Create a text file /myagent/passwordfile that contains the agent user password in clear text.
3. cd to /myagent/web_agents/sjsws_agent/bin
4. Start installation: agentadmin --install

modifies obj.conf file in the config directory you specified. To make agent
changes effective do Pull and deploy configuration using Web Server Admin
Console or CLI. If there are multiple obj.conf files already present, then
manually add agent settings to the required obj.conf files. UNINSTALL NOTE:
Uninstall removes agent settings from obj.conf file in the config directory
you specified. If there are multiple obj.conf files configured manually in
the same config directory, then please remove them manually. For more
information, please refer agent documentation.
7. Agent install is done. Go to FAM 8 server to create an agent profile ws7-agent.
8. Login to FAM 8 server console as amadmin user: http://fam-host.example.com:8080/opensso
9. Navigate to "Configuration -> Agents -> Web"
10. In the Agent section, click on New button
11. In the Name field, enter ws7-agent
Enter password (the same password as specified in /myagent/passwordfile, provided during agent install)
Reenter password
Enter http://fam-host.example.com:8080/opensso in Server URL field
Enter http://agent-host.example.com:8090/ in Agent URL field
Then click on Create button at the top right corner.
12. The console displays the Web Agent page again with a link ws7-agent
click on the ws7-agent link, the Edit ws7-agent page shows up.
13. The agent profile is now created.
14. Now restart the agent container.
15. The agent should now function.
