Sun and Oracle are delivering optimized data warehousing solutions that combine the Oracle Database with industry-leading Sun servers, Sun StorageTek arrays and the Solaris OS. These solutions include Optimized Reference Configurations and the Oracle Optimized Warehouse for Sun. The Oracle Reference Configurations provide a recommended database, server, and storage mix for a customer's specific requirements to help streamline data warehouse implementations. These configurations have the capability to handle data warehouses ranging from 300 gigabytes to 10 terabytes, and from light to heavy workloads.
