h2. About This Site

This site contains the documentation for Sun Java Communications Suite and its component products. Beginning with the Communications Suite 6 release, this site represents a change in how you will access Communications Suite information:

* All new information for Communications Suite will be written and delivered on this wiki space (and no longer on [docs.sun.com|http://docs.sun.com]).
* Anyone who has registered and obtained a login is able to contribute to the information; once authenticated, you can use the Comments feature or directly add to the information itself.
* You can register for a *Sun Online Account (SOA)* [here|https://reg.sun.com/register]. A *Sun Developer Network (SDN)* account also enables you to log in and contribute.
* Information for previous releases (such as Communications Suite 5) will stay on [doc.sun.com|http://docs.sun.com] for now. In many instances, previously released information is still applicable. Over time, we plan on migrating information about previous releases to this wiki.
* Here's an example of how this model will work: All documentation for Convergence\-\-the new Communications Suite web client\-\-will be delivered to this wiki space. New information for existing products, such as Messaging Server 7.0, will also be delivered to this wiki. Existing manuals, such as the _Messaging Server 6.3 Administration Guide_ will remain on [docs.sun.com|http://docs.sun.com]. Those manuals are still the place to go for relevant tasks and concepts. Over time, information published prior to Communications Suite 6, and that resides on [docs.sun.com|http://docs.sun.], will be migrated to this wiki space.
