Does Sun Cluster Software Support Solaris 8 and 9 Containers and Linux Containers? By installing the following patches, you can add support for solaris8, solaris9, and lx branded zones to a Solaris Cluster environment that runs the Solaris 10 Operating System. Patch 120590-06 provides support for the solaris8 and lx brand types within the HA for Solaris Containers agent for Sun Cluster 3.1 08/04 software. This patch supports the solaris8 brand type on the Solaris 10 OS for SPARC platforms, and it supports the lx brand type on the Solaris 10 OS for x86 platforms. Patch 126020-03 obsoletes patch 126020-02 and provides support for the solaris8 and solaris 9 brand types within the HA for Solaris Containers agent for Solaris Cluster 3.2 software. This patch supports the Solaris 10 OS for SPARC platforms. Patch 126021-03 obsoletes patch 126021-02 and provides support for the lx brand type within the HA for Solaris Containers agent for Solaris Cluster 3.2 software.
