h5. Open HA Cluster 2009.06 Is Now Available
Open HA Cluster 2009.06 is the latest open-source binary based on Sun Cluster 3.2, now running on OpenSolaris 2009.06. This release includes some new features, only in Open HA Cluster, that can reduce the amount of hardware you need in your cluster:

* The use of virtual NICS (VNICs) to route private-network traffic over the public network, eliminating the need for private interconnect cabling.
* COMSTAR iSCSI support to enable all cluster nodes to access locally attached storage.

There's plenty more to learn about, so go [take a look!|http://opensolaris.org/os/community/ha-clusters/announcements/?monthYear=June+2009]

If you like, feel free to take a look at a reprint of Sun's [Sun Cluster Data Service for MySQL Guide for Solaris OS|http://wikis.sun.com/display/SunCluster/Sun+Cluster+Data+Service+for+MySQL+Guide+for+Solaris+OS+%28Reprint%29].

h5. Solaris Cluster Support in LDOM I/O Domains
Starting with Solaris Cluster 3.2, Solaris Cluster is now supported in Logical Domains (LDoms) I/O domains. I/O domains are domains that include physical devices and are not dependent on other domains (such as a service domain) for their operation.
