h1. To Discover Gear and Install Agents
h1. Discovering Gear and Installing Agents
This procedure describes a simple example of gear discovery and xVM Ops Center agent installation. This example focuses on running a limited discovery search, and subsequently installing a Sun xVM Ops Center agent onto a single discovered system. Sun xVM Ops Center is capable of much broader gear discovery searches than the one described here, as well as broader installation of Sun xVM Ops Center agents. This procedure assumes that an as-yet undiscovered system, with an installed Solaris operating system instance, is accessible to the Sun xVM Ops Center Enterprise Controller through the network.
