Preparing a system for a Sun xVM Ops Center Enterprise Controller or Proxy Controller installation requires configuring an operating system that provides all of the resources that Sun xVM Ops Center requires. The following procedures describe how to install the Solaris OS or the Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 5.0 OS, and how to verify that the required system resources exist, to support Sun xVM Ops center installation.
