... h2. Meetup/Mashup
Dear CommunityONE & JavaONE Attendees:
On May 4 from 12-5pm, we are hosting a Meetup/Mashup at the Moscone Center to help local nonprofits harness the web to make their organizations more effective.
This event will give you an opportunity to direct your talent and programming skills to nonprofits focused on making positive social change, to see how others are using to technology to enact positive social change, and an opportunity meet some passionate people working to make the communities where we live and work a better place. You can help them do this by using your Java technology expertise, and we want you to join us\!
We are working with [NetSquared|http://www.netsquared.org] \- a nonprofit based in SF - to put this event on in support of their ongoing [Mashup Challenge|http://www.netsquared.org/mashup], and we are inviting students from local universities, attendees from CommunityONE and JavaONE, to join us in supporting these groups. Attendees of CommunityONE and JavaONE include developers from Sun Microsystems, Inc. as well as many other leading technology providers from around the globe.
h4. How Will You Be Helping?
By joining this event you will be working with non-profit organizations on a range of challenges including: * Refining some of their ideas about how the data they are using could be rendered in mashups; and
