Finding Documentation

The Home Page

The home page shows the major sections within the Sun xVM Ops Center documentation. It is divided into three columns:

  • Get Going, which explains how to launch a Sun xVM Ops Center instance, contains the Getting Started, Installation, Gear Discovery, and Administration sections.
  • Keep Going, which explains how to manage many of the ongoing tasks in Sun xVM Ops Center, contains the Sun xVM Servers, Operating Systems, Hardware and Firmware, Storage Libraries, and Networks sections.
  • What's Going On, which contains news, the Community space, and Reference Materials including the FAQ and terminology.

You can go to a section, and view more detailed information about its child pages, by clicking on it. In addition, you can expand a section's description and bring up links to common child pages by clicking on the description.

The Left Panel

The left panel is a navigation tool that is available on every page. It follows the same structure as the home page. It also indicates your current position within the page tree.

You can expand a page in the left panel and reveal its child pages by clicking the plus icon next to the page.

Section Pages

Each section contains links to the topic pages within that section, along with a basic overview of each page.

Additional Links

Links to related pages are included at the bottom of many topic pages. If a topic page is a step in a larger process, a link to the next logical step is also included.
