Managing and Monitoring Locator Lights
You can use Sun xVM Ops Center to illuminate an LED locator light to locate a specific server in a rack. From your browser, you can switch on or off a server or chassis locator light.
To Find a Hardware or Chassis
- Choose Hardware or Chassis from the Management menu.
Appropriate management information appears. - Select the blade within a chassis or the server that you want to find.
- Choose Locator Light On from the Actions menu.
The LED locator light on the physical server or blade will illuminate.
