Installation and Configuration Overview

Use these procedures to install Sun xVM Ops Center:

  1. To obtain Sun xVM Ops Center software, follow the recommendations described in the Obtaining Sun xVM Ops Center Software page.
  2. To install Sun xVM Ops Center server software, follow the procedures in the pages below the Installing and Configuring a Sun xVM Ops Center Server page. This procedure automatically installs a Sun xVM Ops Center proxy on the same system where the server installs, but does not enable the proxy.
  3. To install Sun xVM Ops Center proxy software onto a system other than the system where the server is installed, follow the procedures in the pages below the Installing and Configuring a Sun xVM Ops Center Proxy page.
  4. To install Sun xVM Ops Center agent software, follow the procedures in the pages below the Installing and Configuring Sun xVM Ops Center Agents page.

Upgrading Sun xVM Ops Center
