General Installation Requirements To successfully install Sun xVM, the following requirements must be met: Root permissions Perl v 5.8 or later installed Sufficient space available on / Note: If you have Sun Connection - Enterprise, Sun MC, or SPS installed on your system, it is recommended that you uninstall these applications before installing Sun xVM.
