Basic Discovery Basic Discovery is the default discovery method. To discover gear using this method, the gear must have an embedded Sun Service Tag. The list of products that you can register is changing all the time, and more are being added as Sun Service Tags are embedded in new releases of Sun products. Download a Sun Service Tag for your OS To Discover Gear 1. From the Gear menu, select Discover Gear. 2. Start the service tag discovery process. 3. Click OK.
