OpenSSO AMIs:

There are two types of OpenSSO AMIs available on EC2. The OpenSSO Community release AMIs and the Commercial OpenSSO release AMIs. In addition to all the features and components of the Community release , the OpenSSO Enterprise 8 commercial release from Sun Microsystems comes with Authentication modules for RSA SecureID and RADIUS.

To obtain licensing information or get access to the commercial release OpenSSO images, please send an email to EC2-OpenSSO-AMI@sun.com.
All OpenSSO instances are hosted on a GlassFish container. For detail on Glassfish, click here.

Getting Started:

  1. Sign up for Amazon EC2
  2. Study the Getting Started Guide for Amazon EC2.
  3. The OpenSSO instances are installed and ready to be configured. To learn how to configure OpenSSO, click here.
