Setting up Google Analytics tracking on Mediacast involves these steps:
Sign in to or sign up for Google Analytics
If you don't have an existing Analytics account, you need to create one on the Google Analytics website.
If you already have an account, please log in.
Create a Google Analytics account
Once you are logged in, create a Google Analytics account.
Create a Website Profile for Mediacast
Go to "Analytics Settings" in your account and click on "Add Website Profile":

And fill out the form:

The URL marked as 2 is important. You must enter this URL into your Mediacast profile page.
Identify and configure the tracking code at Mediacast
The tracking code is this string:

Go to Mediacast and enter it, following these instructions:
Activate your website profile
Exit the Google Analytics page on which you identified your tracking code:

Click on "Check Status" to activate your profile:

If everything was set up correctly, you should see a "Waiting for Data" status:
Create a filter to exclude bogus traffic
This step is very important and if skipped, could mean that tracking of your content might be incorrect due to traffic generated on our staging and test servers used during development.
Go back to your Account Settings page and click on "Edit" next to your profile:

Next is "Add Filter":

Fill out the form exactly like this:

Now you can click on "View Reports" and start analyzing your traffic.
