CTI Requested Features - Summary

This is a summary of a complete list of RFEs. It is provided here for the purposes of the CTI User Survey.

Comments/History

Ability to add comments for each segment and see translation history

#03 - Enable adding comments to translations (translation segments) for communication. Review functionality is needed.
#04 - Filter Commented translations (segments) to locate which ones are commented.

Translation Memory and Glossary

Leveraging memory and using terminology database

# 10, 17 - Glossary and reference memory function like the one OmegaT provides is needed.
# 13 - I strongly wish the translation memory is accessible by Community.  That is, we can leverage the memory as we wish.
# 50 - Auto-translation and auto-complete of terms, which are commonly used, in order to reduce typing and to keep translation consistent the translation of terms.

Statistics

Showing statistical information about translators, translation volume per user/language/project, list of contributors, etc.

Offline translation; ability to download and upload files to be edited in various editors like OmegaT

Improve usability

Improve a usability of the CTI, like better navigation, better UI,faster projects loading, etc.

# 16 - If WorldServer services are not accessible, editor client pops up the warning message 'Invalid Username or password' while trying to auth Anonymous user forever.
This should repeat several times and then, the script should finish.
# 21,24,28 - When the translation on one page is finished and then you go to the next page without saving previous one, the unsaved traslations are lost.
# 25 - Ability to save a password to your browser.
# 27 - Faster way of loading projects (since this from my point of view is really slow)
# 29 - When "Available Translation Tasks" table contains too many entries it is difficult to navigate to entries at the end of table. If we have some sort of pagination it would be easier to navigate.
# 30 - Add navigation buttons for next and previous tasks in Translation Editor
# 35 - Add Save/Submit button at the bottom of CTI editor (so an user does not have to go up)
# 36 - Sometimes the edit area is really small, can be enlarged it with a button?
