Cloud Computing Patterns, Architectures and Best Practices

Throughout this pages, we refer to patterns, architectures (and micro architectures) and best practices. For the purpose of these pages, we define these as:

  • Pattern: an abstract description of how to solve a problem that can be implemented in many ways to be applied to many sets of problems.
  • Architecture : a collection of patterns combined to solve both functional and systemic problems.
  • Best Practice : a preferred technique or activity to promote optimal outcomes.
