On 8/18/2008 I changed my profile from email to no email (saved) and then changed the setting back to email. I assume the update to this message should generate an email.
After 6 hours no email received.
The word is that the notify emails have been fixed. This is an update to generate (hopefully) an email. (08/22/2008)
They worked for 4 days skipped a day and did receive the Confluence Changes email today, but no individual watch emails. This update is really to see if a draft will be created under my account.
(PS. It did.)
I have been receiving the Confluence Changes and watch emails off and on, but not reliably. It's starting to look like Sun has abandoned much (maybe most) of the wikis. (09/11/2008)

Have you found any of the wikis still active? I do see updates in the "Recently Updated" column of the Wikis Home but rarely anything that I can use. When the Confluence Changes email work you can see that the updates are much less than they were a few months ago. Maybe the new has worn off and people are moving onto the "next thing" - whatever that is.
