Customer not impressed with SunSolve Support for the 7000 Unified Storage System:

Thanks for that. About 4pm yesterday I patched the appliance after finding that 1.0.2 did appear a likely candidate. The only information I could find was via a wiki at Sun: http://wikis.sun.com/display/FishWorks/Sun+Storage+7000+Series+Software+Updates which perhaps seems a strange way to promote software updates? The associated release notes mentioned CR 6769394 "Unable to configure an NFS_v4/v3 share for R/W access by exactly one host".

Initial testing I have done after the upgrade indicate that it now works properly but I will do more work - possibly not until this afternoon - to confirm that.

I could find nothing on SunSolve about this at all. When I click on the link about the above CR I get the following error back from SunSolve:
"You have encountered the following error(s) or warning(s):

    • An application error has occurred. The error is logged for further analysis."
