Definition: Auxiliary Object Class
An auxiliary object class is one that does not define the core type of an entry, but defines additional characteristics of that entry. An entry can contain zero or more auxiliary object classes. The set of auxiliary classes allowed for use in an entry may be controlled by a DIT content rule associated with that entry's structural class.
