November 12, 2007 Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAVA) today announced 10 new customers that are storing vast amounts of digital content on the Sun StorageTek 5800, a new category of storage system optimized for large-scale storage of fixed data. A number of white papers and solution briefs are available. The StorageTek 5800 client SDK free download comes with an emulator that enables you to test client applications without having to connect to a StorageTek 5800 server, and provides client APIs for Java and C to store and retrieve data and to store, retrieve, query, and delete metadata records.
