What To Be Careful About
Saying It Correctly

Avoid using the phrase "or later". Use the phrase "at least" or "starting in release (or version)".

Examples:
Here are some examples of how to say it correctly.

  • Install at least version 10 of kernel patch 1111111 to ensure that your system works as you want.
  • Starting in Solaris 10, this feature is available.
Using Links

Include links in your page that everyone can access. You can include links that require your reader to provide an ID and a password, but if possible, tell your reader up front that he or she needs to do so.
