HOWTO Create a Kiosk Mode Browser for SunRay

Introduction

The Sun Ray ultra-thin client has a mode called Kiosk Mode wherein a single, specific application is launched for users to provide application access in a simplified, secure, and controlled way.  This blog entrydescribes how to create a kiosk mode script that launches a Firefox web browser, which connects to a Secure Global Desktop url.   Users are presented with the SGD login page, and just login normally.
