This probably isn't the right place to report issues with the support center, but I couldn't find any obvious place to report them.

The link to "Solaris Crash Analysis Tool" under "Support Diagnostic Tools" points to a good tutorial on SCAT, but it's from 2003 and it links to download SCAT 4.1. SCAT 5.1 is available now (https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_SMI-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductRef=SCAT-5.1-G-F@CDS-CDS_SMI). The link should probably be updated.

When trying to create a new case, I got this error: "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: b must not be null." And I couldn't continue. Please fix this problem.

      IDman,
Can you please confirm the error: If you are on the contact page you must have an address for the product. Also you need to have a contract method. If both of these are set, please send the serial number and your party number to msc-support@sun.com and the team will investigate.
      Regards

    I have tried the following.

Home -> "Solution Quick Links" -> Edit

Check "Quick Link Name" and "Quick Link Description" -> Save

Return to home page and stored solutions are listed. However, if you click on the "Home" tab at the top of the page they disappear. Indeed, any attempt to navigate away from the home page and then return to it seems to loose the saved settings.

      Hi Jon,
There is a new SunSolve SR process which makes use of an email interchange, if you know your serial number you can log your support call very quickly.

If you have two open tickets, I have validated your access levels on Member Support Center is primary user, so you do have access to all the support tickets which are on serial numbers or products associated to the party and accounts you are associated to.

The system is one system so all the phone SR's are in the same database as what you are viewing via the Member Support Center.

If you would like me to investigate further please send me the two SR numbers in question and I fill find out why there is a viewing issue.

      Regards Miriam (email me: miriam.brace@sun.com)
