Making changes to this wiki

• This wiki can be edited by Sun Employees Only. It is View Only access for non-Sun users.
• All users (including non-Sun users can add comments to any wiki page).
• Sun Employees are welcome to update this wiki for form or content as you see fit. This wiki is a
  community effort and your edits/changes are welcome. Changes made are automatically notified
  to the this wiki's editorial team.

Please follow these simple guidelines to make changes:

I would encourage you to think along the following lines, before making changes

• • Is this info that belongs to a public website. Remember no Sun Internal Info.
  • Is this info useful for a customer, partner or Sun Sales teams. Remember
    that customer, partner or Sun Sales teams are the principle audience for this
    wiki. Too much info clutters the message and users will stop using it if there
    is too much info.
  • Should this data belong to maybe a different website (Sun Solve, Xmen) and
    can can be cross referenced from the Cross Platform IO Support wiki.
  • When adding new fields, do you have information for a majority of cases.
    For instance if you are going to add a Column to the "Supported Platforms"
    table, do you have values for at least a majority of server platforms. We do
    not want to add a column that is specific to one server and leave all the
    other cells in the table empty.
  • Use your best judgment. If you are reasonably confident make the change. That is
    the whole point of a wiki - the community at large owns it and will correct it too
    if things are incorrect!

To make changes:

• • Login into the wiki using your Sun email and LDAP Password.
  • Browse to the wiki page you want to change.
  • Click on "Edit" on top of the wiki page.
  • You will get a wiki editor and a short help on wiki language to help you make the changes.
  • Remember Cut and Paste is your friend.
  • Save your changes and you are done !
