Choose one of the following menu options to open a terminal window on your desktop:
- Choose Open Terminal from the Desktop Background menu.
The Desktop Background menu can be opened by moving your cursor into an
open space on the desktop and then clicking the right button. - Choose Applications → System Tools → Terminal.
