Show the cool windowing features in Compiz

2008.05 or newer.

OpenSolaris has a modern desktop, comparable to what you'll find with Linux, Windows or Mac OS.
In 2008.05, compiz is turned off by default
Easy to turn it on and customize it

Make sure compiz is turned off

On some configurations, turning on compiz while VirtualBox is running will cause VirtualBox to crash.

Click the Custom button and then click the Close button

Desktop Unfold	Hold down <Ctrl> + <Alt>, Press on the <Down arrow>	Desktop - Desktop Cube

Window Picker	Move the mouse to the top right corner of the screen OR hold down <Shift> + <Alt> + Up	Window Management - Scale

Windows Opacity	Hold down <Alt>, and scroll up or down on the mouse scroll wheel with cursor over the window	General - General Options

System > Preferences > Appearance
Click the Visual Effects tab
Click the Preferences button and explain that the displayed dialog can be used to control compiz.
Exit that dialog
Click None to turn compiz off and then click the Close button
