Downloads of OpenSSO
You can download the Policy Agents and the OpenSSO/FAM/AM server. All of them are available to download for free!
Some of them were developed on OpenSSO project, and others were previously developed internally at Sun. Originally the Access Manager and Policy Agents were developed internally at Sun, and then Sun moved the project to open source code.
The Access Manager 7.1 and the Policy Agents 2.2 (and previous versions) have been released previously as fully tested and supported products and are used on many web sites today.
The new versions of Access Manager will be developed in open source, and will be OpenSSO/FAM/AM server 8.0. Early access versions are available for download as it is being developed.
The new versions of Policy Agents will be developed in open source, and will be Policy Agents 3.0. Some new 2.2 agenets may also be developed Early access versions are available for download as it is being developed.
Looking forward, all the new agents and OpenSSO/FAM/AM server versions developed in open source on the opensso project will be made avaliable for download from the opensso project and also on the Sun website. If you want really stable downloads to try out, maybe try the AM 7.1 and agents 2.2 first since they are fully tested and released, whereas the newer version being developed are changing as the project progresses toward an official release.

All of the names are different between this document and the OpenSSO download page. I assume that when you say to download "OpenSSO/FAM/AM server 8.0 (Latest version: Early Access build)" you are actually referring to "OpenSSO V1 Build 2 Zip"?
As well, there are two sections on the OpenSSO Downloads page that refer to Agents - neither of them are called Policy Agents, some of them are called J2EE Agents and others are called Web Agents. None of them appear to be related to GlassFish. The link does not take me to a specific section but only to the page, so I have no idea which links are appropriate.
Can you clarify? Thanks very much!
