Description:

The Sun Adapter for e-Mail enables Sun Java CAPS to exchange data with an SMTP (outbound) or POP3 (inbound) mail server. The adapter uploads messages to and download messages from a mail server.

Adapter Features:

  • Support for inbound and outbound communication with mail servers
  • Support for bi-directional secure communication using SSL & TLS
  • Supported protocols - SMTP, POP3 and MIME.
  • Multipart MIME messages and multiple attachments are supported
  • Adapter provides custom (static) OTD for managing email contect and sending/receiving emails.
  • Conforms to RFC2047 standard for MIME
  • Supports Japanese character encoding in address and subject headers and text content of the email messages.
  • Supports both Java Collaborations and eInsight business processes.
  • The E-mail adapter does not currently support sending or receiving messages containing multi-level nested MIME parts
