Description

The Sun Adapter for SAP ALE provides OTD wizard for building IDOC OTDs by connecting to an SAP R/3 system or from an IDOC description file.

Adapter Features:

External System Support/Dependencies:

The IDOC Wizard needs:

  • JCO Library version 2.1.8
  • SAP Java Base IDOC Class Library 1.0.2
  • SAP Java Connector IDOC Class Library 1.0.3
  • Supports SAP R/3 version - 4.6C, 4.6D, 4.7, ECC 5.0(mySAP ERP 2004, Unicode and Non-Unicode) and ECC 6.0 Unicode (mySAP ERP 2005)
  • Supports SAP R/3 version - 4.6C, 4.6D and 4.7 for Japanese and Korean.

Upgrade Considerations:

SAP ALE adapter does not have a JCA based adapter to send/receive IDOCs to/from a SAP R/3 System. The adapter must use the SAP BAPI adapter to send/receive IDocs to SAP R/3.
