Sun Adapter for JDBC-ODBC

The Sun Adapter for JDBC-ODBC provides bi-directional connectivity to various databases which are not supported by existing database adapters

Adapter Features:

Provides bi-directional connectivity to DBs which are not supported by the existing DB eWays
Support for relaunchable OTDs
Editable OTD support
Connection Retry support
Provides following types of external systemt connections - Outbound JDBC non-transactional, outbound JDBC XA , Outbound JDBC, Inbound JDBC
Provides a Database wizard to build OTDs. Wizard supports creating OTDs for tables, stored procedures or prepared SQL statements
Database OTDs are non-messageable OTDs
Outbound Operations supported in eInsight Business processes - Insert, Update, Delete, SelectOne, SelectMulitple, SelectAll
Inbound operations supported in eInsight business processs - ReceiveOne with a prepared statement OTD.
Methods supported in Java collaborations are - insert(), insertRow(), update(str sWhere), updateRow(), delete(string sWhere), deleteRow(), select(string where)
Support updating tables using ResultSets i.e. Updatable ResultSet
Supports resultSet manipulations when using stored procedures
Supports Batch operations using prepared statements
