Description:

The Sun Adapter for CICS provides support for bidirectional communication with CICS transaction programs

Adapter Features:

  • Supports inbound and outbound communication with CICS transaction programs
  • Provides a Cobol Copybook Converter to create OTDs from Cobol Copybook files .
  • Includes a CICS client OTD to expose CICS Java API
  • Adapter can use either IBM's CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG) ver 5.1, 6.0,6.0.1 & 6.1 OR Sun SeeBeyond CICD Listner for accessing CICS z/OS transactions
  • Supports CICS ver 3.1 i.e. IBM CICS transaction server 3.1
  • Support secure communiction using SSL
  • Support to configure CTG tracing
