Description:

The Sun Adapter for Batch-FTP provides pre-built Object Type Definitions that enable the creation of file transfer operations using FTP. It provides the following 7 OTDs for FTP operations -
1. BatchFTP
2. BatchFTPOverSSL
3. BatchSCP
4. BatchSFTP
5. BatchLocalFile
6. BatchRecord
7. BatchInbound

Adapter Features:

  • All Batch OTDs are non-editable.
  • Support standard FTP according to RFC-959
  • 3 OTDs for secure data transfer functionality
  • Support for client and server authentication when using SSL
  • Support multi-threading so that you need only one external type in CMAP to handle multiple input triggers.
  • Supports SOCKS FTP version 4 & 5.
  • Supports RAW FTP commands in the BatchFTP OTD.
  • Supports FTP heuristics in the BatchFTP OTD
  • Enhanced support for user defined heuristics
  • Supports Sequence Numbering and Resume Reading in the BatchFTP and BatchLocalFile OTDs.
  • Supports SSH Tunneling.
  • Supports Data Streaming between components (in java collaborations only) - available for BatchFTP, BatchLocalFile and BatchRecord OTDs.
  • Supports Regex for File and directory names.
  • Supports data transfer in ASCII, BINARY and EDCDIC modes.
  • Support for dynamic configuration change in java collaborations.
  • Support for manual and automatic mode of connection for BatchFTP, BatchFTPOverSSL, BatchSFTP and BatchLocalFile.
  • Supports parsing and creating payloads, which can be of record types - Delimited, Fixed and Single Record.
  • Supports record delimiter characters in ASCII, Escaped ASCII, Hex and Octal.

External System Support/Dependencies:

The Batch-FTP adapter has been tested with the following FTP servers

  • SFTP server on Solaris
  • Winsshd on Win XP
  • Cygwin on windowsXP
