How to Create a Confluence JIRA for Atlassian

Searching Help

Sometimes bugs or RFEs should be handled by Atlassian instead of the wikis.sun.com team, in those cases, we might ask you to file a JIRA (ticket), with Atlassian. Here is how to do it.

Just create a free account at jira.atlassian.com, then:

  1. go to http://jira.atlassian.com/secure/CreateIssue.jspa
  2. select project "Confluence"
  3. select "Bug" or "Improvement"
  4. fill out the form (add SunWikis tag at the bottom) and submit it
  5. share the link on wikis@sun.com so that we can vote or comment on your JIRA

You can check out some existing JIRAs, to get an idea of how one should look like.

If you need to find out which version of confluence we currently run, please consult our release notes at http://wikis.sun.com/display/About/
