Alert Update: SD Campus Weekend & Monday News, 10/27-29

SDG&E is still requesting that we minimize energy consumption at our Sun facility based on where it is located on the power grid. Therefore, we will be following the energy curtailment criteria through the weekend, 10/27-28. Facilities is checking regularly with SDG&E; once the energy constraints are lifted, we will do the same. We also are continuing to monitor air quality to ensure a safe work environment for our employees. New air filters will be installed on Monday.
Therefore, our San Diego campus will be back ONLINE on Monday, 10/29! Any employees who are still being forced to evacuate from their homes should inform their managers; Sun offers emergency-relocation assistance to affected employees. If you'd like to offer your home or need permanent or temporary housing, please contact Julie Dollahite, julie.dollahite@sun.com, x54006, or 512-971-9200.
ALL SD employees are asked to Check In at Sun IF YOUR STATUS CHANGES. THANKS to all of you for using Check In at Sun! We have accounted for ALL employees!!
We now have a Facebook page for any Sun employee to join and communicate with others about the fire. Although it shows as a fundraiser or event, it is just a communication forum.
