Like the UltraSPARC T2, the UltraSPARC T2plus supports on-chip cryptographic accelerators. The T2plus accelerators provide identical functionality and performance to the T2 accelerators. Accordingly, for a 2-socket T2plus system, the crypto performance is roughly twice that of a single-socket T2 socket.
