Are services offered for hearing impaired attendees?

  • Yes, we will make accommodations to those who have requested those needs via the contact center.

Will there be translation services at the event?

  • No

How do I book meeting spaces?

  • Private meeting rooms at the Marriott Marquis are not available.

When will I receive my confirmation?

  • Confirmations are sent out within 72 hours of registering

How can I book a hotel reservation? When can I receive a confirmation?

  • Attendees of CommunityOne East will need to obtain a hotel reservation on their own. Hotels close to the venue are as follows:
    • Marriott Marquis - Venue Hotel
    • Additional Hotels Coming Soon

How can I get a Visa letter?

  • Visa letters are not being distributed for this vent

What is the substitution policy?

  • All substitutions will be handled through the call center

I selected a certain session topic during registration, am I confined to this session track?

  • Based upon available seating, you are able to attend whichever track you prefer

What is CommunityOne East and how has it changed from last year?

Based on the overwhelming success of CommunityOne in San Francisco, Sun is
expanding the scope of the Tech Days event originally scheduled for New York in early
2009 into a full CommunityOne conference. CommunityOne New York, like it's San Francisco cousin, is an open developer conference where attendees can explore the increasing role communities play in the software industry, how open source technologies and the companies and communities that create them are increasingly interconnected, and how the power of community can and should play a role in next generation platforms.

Can I bring a guest?

  • No, guests are not allowed to attend

Are meals provided at this event?

  • Yes, lunch will be provided.

Who is the target audience?

  • CommunityOne brings together developers, technologists and students for technical education and exchange

Who can attend C1?

  • You must be registered to attend CommunityOne. As space is limited, pre-registration is encouraged.

How will I know that you received my registration?

  • Once your registration has been successfully submitted you will receive an emailAcknowledgement immediately confirming your registration has been received

Will there be transportation to and from the event?

  • No, there will not be transportation provided to this event. There is easy access via the subway.
