comm_dssetup.pl Script Worksheet

Print and fill out this worksheet to use when responding to the comm_dssetup.pl script configuration options. You use comm_dssetup.pl to prepare the Directory Server LDAP schema and configure Messaging Server.

This sheet assumes you are using Scheme 2, the default for a new installation.

Users/Groups base suffix The default depends on what is detected. The comm_dssetup.pl script does attempt to heuristically determine the value.  
Schema type? 2. However, if you run comm_dssetup.pl again, it defaults to the value choosen the previous time.
Update the schema files? yes  
Configure new indexes? yes  
Reindex new indexes? yes
