What's New in Patching June, 2007 Patching tools have changed to handle large patches. Read Full Document Note that as of 5/12/08 the document is in error. It mentions a variable called "SUNW_SAFEMODE" but the real name is "SUNW_PATCH_SAFE_MODE". Caveat Administrator. Note from wiki admin: Thanks to user Hushpuppy for pointing out the error in the article. On 5/14/08 the article was fixed, so it now shows the correct variable ("SUNW_PATCH_SAFE_MODE").
