How would you recover the backup .flar file if it were on a DVD or USB drive? I am able to conduct the entire process using the network or tape recovery method. What I need to figure out is how to save the flar image to a USB staroge device (portable harddrive) and then recover the image. My other option is how to recover the image from a DVD. I tried using the Local File and Local Device options with no success. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thank you

      Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the question. I didn't know why the Local File and Local Device options did not work for you, I haven't used both in the past. But I knew there is anther way, which involves a bootable server with a spare disk. The backup flar image can be on any local device, as long as the server can access it. This tip is on the way.

      Thank you again.
